A couple weeks ago we all gathered to celebrate my baby sister’s baby shower. It’s definitely surreal to see the baby of the sisters having her own baby, but man, am I excited to become an auntie. This is (finally) the first time it’s not me pregnant. Instead, I get to get in all those newborn snuggles without having to re-live those rough newborn days.

She didn’t want anything too “themey” so we did a general theme of brown and blue. Think soft earth tones with a sprinkle of pretty blues. We rented the tables, chairs and linens from 3 Little Birds Event Planning. Aside from the desserts, everything else was DIYd. We ordered this brown and blue balloon arch off of Amazon along with some pretty dusty blue chiffon table runners. I added this flower garland to an egg chair I already owned to spruce it up as her “special chair.” All the flower arrangements were DIYd with florals from Trader Joes. The cake was from Zozo Bean Bakery and the custom cookies were from Cookies Are A Must. Be sure to check out my Instagram reels for a video tour of the shower.
It was a beautiful shower for the baby in our family, and now the countdown begins to meet my sweet little nephew!
