I can’t believe my baby girl turned FIVE this month. There’s truly something monumental about this age; they’re still little, but grown at the same time. It’s like the happy medium between having a sweet toddler and a big kid.

For her birthday this year, I opted for something smaller. We invited all the girls in her class to Olivia’s Dollhouse Tearoom for a princess tea party. And let me tell you, this place is a girl’s (and girl-mom’s!) dream come true. The girls start off by picking out their own princess gown and shoes, followed by hair and nails in the salon. We then had a special guest appearance all the way from the ocean….Ariel! She came just in time for story time and the girls’ fashion show. Then it was time to sip some “tea” and lunch on some pizza in the magical tearoom. It was truly such a fun and magical experience. I would highly, highly recommend checking out Olivia’s Dollhouse Tearoom for your little girl’s party.
After the party, we came home and had a small celebration with family. I made her this sweet balloon arch which only took about an hour of my time and made for the sweetest backdrop. I added in these beautiful butterflies to make it more whimsical with the “Let’s Partea” balloon banner. Add in some pretty plates and cups and you’ve got yourself a tea party!
It was a beautiful day for my FIVE year old gal.
PS, if you’re looking for a more sentimental gift, check out this sweet heart locket you can personalize. She had been asking for one for months so I ordered it with two photos etched inside. She LOVED it.
