Hi, friends and welcome! I’m so happy to have you here. I’m Juliet, a thirty-something wife and mama.
I started blogging way back when I was an attorney working for a big law firm. I wanted to combine my love of writing into a creative outlet, so my original blog, “Jules, Truly”, was born. I have to say that both myself and this blog have evolved over the years; what started as a fashion blog turned into a space for home decor, lifestyle and motherhood. After I had my first child, I decided to put my legal career on hold and become a full-time mom. While I certainly miss the intellectual stimulation that came with work, I have no regrets about pushing the pause button on that chapter of my life so that I can raise my babies.
Through blogging and being the mamarazzi that I am, I picked up another hobby: photography. I am self-taught and am always willing to help other mamas who are eager to learn how to take better photos of their kids. I have a whole blog post dedicated to my photography tips, which you can find under the FAQ section of this blog.
I live in Los Angeles with my husband and 3 kids. Throughout the last decade, we have worked on 4 complete tear-down renovations, and it was through this process that my love of home design and decor really bloomed. We are currently living in our third renovation, but are always looking for our next project. In the interim, I’m pretty good at finding projects around the house for both my husband and I to work on.
