Hi, friends! I can’t believe it’s CHRISTMAS WEEK! This time of year just always seems to fly by, and I have to admit it makes me a little sad. It’s such a special time of year and as much as I try to slow down and soak it all in, it still goes super fast.

I’ve been meaning to get this post up for a month now but never found the time; better late than never, though. If you saw my Christmas inspo post back in October, you’ll know that my theme for this year was “cozy chic”… my goal was lots of neutral earth tones with pops of black. This was new to me, as I’ve done a pink themed Christmas the year Hannah was born and of course the traditional red (most recent here), so I was really excited to see how my vision would all come together. I have to say, this is probably my favorite theme yet. The colors just provide a warm and cozy vibe without being in-your-face festive; it’s subtle and chic. Anyway, go ahead and grab yourself a cup of coffee and welcome to my home for Christmas!
Welcome to our front porch. This is definitely my favorite porch I’ve done to date. Just a few items is all you need for a Christmas glow-up. The garland is a fresh one I ordered from Costco. As much as I love that it’s real, I hate the mess once it dries-up. So I’ll probably stick to faux next year, like the rest of the decor 😂
Next up is our entryway. I kept it pretty simple, as my approach this year was “less is more.” You really don’t need a lot to make a space festive.
Next up is my sideboard, another area I kept pretty simple. Some Christmas greenery, reindeer, trees and candles is all I added.
Moving onto the dining table, I just added small wreaths on the backs of my chairs (attached with command hooks) and left my favorite plum stems from Fall.
Next up is the kitchen, which I kept pretty simple since I wanted it to be functional and practical. I really don’t like a lot of clutter in the kitchen since it’s an area that’s also prone to so much mess, so simple was the goal in here.
I have a console table in the living room that is always fun to decorate for the holidays. This area of my home is one of my favorite, as it’s filled with family photos and cozy decor that really warms up the house. Tip: when in doubt, add twinkle lights; I can’t get enough this time of year.
Finally, the star of the show, the living area. The mantle and tree are always one of my favorite things to decorate, as they’re really the epitome of Christmas. This is where we cozy up to watch all our Christmas movies and sip on some hot chocolate, so this area is the heart of our Christmas home.
And that wraps up our 2021 Christmas home tour! I pray your spirit is light with hope, your heart is filled with joy and your holiday is blessed with the Glory of God. Merry Christmas, friends.
