Baby girl at 12 weeks
I’m finally getting around to doing a bumpdate for baby girl!
How far along? 17 weeks, 2 days (22 more weeks to go)
Size of baby: Turnip (5 inches; 5 oz)
Weight gain: Not quite sure, but I’m estimating 6.2 pounds. I’ll confirm at my next doctor appt.
Maternity clothes: I resisted for a while, but I finally took out my old clothes at around 14 weeks, which is when I feel like I suddenly popped. I really need to buy some new ones, though. I definitely got my use out of them during A’s pregnancy.
Stretch marks: None so far, thank God!
Symptoms: Compared to the first trimester, minor fatigue. The first trimester was awful. I had constant nausea (including throwing up, which I didn’t with A) and major fatigue. I just had to lie down all day and let A do his own thing.
Cravings: Carbs, same as first trimester. Funny thing is that I tried eating healthy yesterday (including a kale salad), and I literally felt sick. It’s like my body is rejecting healthy food…
Gender: GIRL! I had a feeling it was a girl given my symptoms (I joked that she was already giving me a hard time… haha)
Mood: Somewhat tired but generally okay.
Nursery: Need to get on that. I’ve only thought of general ideas, and since we’re going to be moving (AGAIN), I can’t quite commit.
Movement: I think I’ve felt some flutters here and there, but I’m not quite sure.
Sleep: Meh. Sleep has been up and down.
Workouts: Walking here and there, and sometimes doing at home cardio. However, my Fitbit now serves as a daily reminder that I’m not meeting my minimum steps.
What I miss: Normal clothes and WINE.

Wedding rings on or off? On
Anything making you queasy or sick? Not really, but I’m still grossed out by meat.
Best moment this week: Thinking I’ve felt movement!
Labor signs? Nope
Looking forward to: Feeling baby’s movement.
