Happy October! It is absolutely nuts to me that we’re already this far into the year (my mind is still in July lol) but here we are. I usually like to decorate my front porch for Fall, but since September crept up on me and flew by, I decided to just skip Fall (gasp!) and go straight into Halloween.

I don’t usually go all out for Halloween, but now that my kids are a little older and can appreciate it, it’s a fun holiday to decorate for (but let’s be real, this is just my pre-game for the REAL deal….Christmas). These festive bats were super fun to work with and provide a big impact with very little. In addition to the porch, I put some throughout my house, which I’ll be sharing more of on Instagram. Be sure to also check out my reel for a close-up of the porch. I then hung these plastic bats from our front chandelier with some fishing line and draped this spooky fabric over the light fixtures. Then I added these spiders in varying sizes; so fun and my kids loved it! It doesn’t take much to create a festive Halloween porch. Now bring on the trick-or-treaters!
