This last weekend I FINALLY got around to packing up my hospital bag. There are still a few last minute things I need to add (UPS man, where you at?) but it’s almost good to go. Even though this is my second time around, I can’t help but feel like I’m missing something. Mamas, if there’s anything you think I should add, please comment below!
What’s In Mama’s Bag
- A couple of nursing tank tops
- A couple of robes (one pretty one for photos with baby)
- A couple pairs of comfy and nursing-friendly pajamas
- Cosmetic bag (JUST in case I actually feel like putting something on my face)
- Toiletry bag
- Curling wand (probably unrealistic, but again, just in case)
- Underwear and socks

- Flip-flops for the shower
- A couple of nursing bras

- Disposable nursing pads
- Nipple cream
- Cardigan, leggings and nursing top to go home in
- Wallet with ID, insurance card, cash and change

- Snacks
What’s In Baby’s Bag
- Nursing cover for when we have visitors
- Baby memory book
- Print kit for baby’s hand and footprints

- Going home outfit, socks and mittens
- Newborn hospital hat

- Pretty swaddles for photos (still waiting on this one so I ordered these as backup)
