February Recap

Well hello, there, March. I can’t believe you’re already here. Does anyone else feel like we were just celebrating New Year’s Eve, like, yesterday? The fact that it’s already March is pure madness. Cheesy pun intended, sorry. Moving on…

So the highlight of my month was going to Vegas with my sisters to see J.Lo’s “All I Have” concert. I’m skipping right over Valentine’s Day (which I don’t really care for) and going straight to J.Lo. The woman is 47 years old and is in better shape than I’ve ever been, or will be. She knows how to put on an awesome show. She may not be much of a singer, but she knows how to entertain, and entertain she does.

I also really enjoyed having uninterrupted sister time the entire weekend. Life is just so busy and sometimes it’s nice to just slow down and have some quality girl time.

Night 1 in Vegas. We had dinner at Beauty and Essex which I highly recommend. The food is good and the decor is beautiful! Get the tomato soup dumplings and kale salad. Trust me. My dress can be found here

I’ve been to Vegas a million times, but this was my first time venturing out to the Neon Museum. It’s a pretty cool tour and only lasts about an hour, so if you need something to do during the daytime, I recommend you go. Although, they also offer a night tour where they light everything up which would be really cool.

The Stardust sign was one that made me nostalgic over my childhood. As a kid, our parents would frequently take us to Vegas and we would always stay at either the Stardust (or as my FOB parents would call it, “Starduster”) or Circus Circus (which is exactly the way I remember it, scary how they haven’t touched that hotel for years).

Night 2 for J.Lo! The lighting was horrible in the auditorium (and frankly the whole hotel) so this was the best photo we could manage in the casino. My dress can be found here
