Four Years

Today marks four years of wedded bliss. But we’ve been in each other’s lives far longer than that. Almost a decade ago, you gave me your number and told me to call you if I wanted to have coffee. Five years later, we made it through buying your first practice, 382 long distance miles, law school, John’s accident, the bar and a four year engagement.

In the last four years, we’ve experienced many highs and lows. We survived four residential moves and two practice moves. We’ve visited 16 cities and 3 countries. We were blessed with 2 pregnancies, felt the overwhelming loss of a miscarriage, and the purest form of unconditional love with our firstborn. We made it through 5 months of parenthood. And we took the risk of two career changes. Through it all, there is no one else I would rather have by my side.
