As we enter into yet another year, I wanted to reflect on the highlights of 2014. Our (extended) family welcomed two new additions with the births of Noah and Julian. I found out I’d be welcoming my own little one this year. One of my dearest friends got married. Lots of family time. Spur of the moment trips with the hubby (those will now be few and far between). We bought our second house, the house we’ll have our first baby in (which hopefully means we can settle down in one place for a few years). Maggie graduated from nursing school AND became licensed (very proud of her). I kissed my 20s goodbye and have officially become “old”. I mean, I’m going to be a 30-year-old mom; when the heck did that happen?! Ironically, though, that’s what I’m most excited about for this year. In just a few more months, I finally get to meet the sweet baby boy who’s been bouncing around in my belly and become a mama. Not gonna lie, I’m a little terrified at the same time (how do you raise a little human?), but I’m as ready as anyone can really be for this next chapter of my life.
Much love and many blessings for 2015.
what an incredible year! i know the coming year will be even better too, getting to share it with your little one!
